Nepali student tops CA Intermediate IPC November 2015 Exam
Pranav Pratik Tulshyan from Kathmandu, Nepal might have set a record of sorts. Not only has he topped the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination (IPC) held in November, 2015 (whose results were declared today, 1 February, 2016), but he may also be the first student from Nepal to have achieved the feat. What makes his success sweeter is that he had also topped the CA CPT exam conducted in December 2014. Talk about consistency!
Pranav, who was born in Muzzafarpur, Bihar currently resides in Kathmandu, Nepal and has been pursuing his CA studies while studying management at the Kathmandu Model College. Pranav has scored 544 marks (77.71 %) in the CA Intermediate (IPC) exam 2015. He had scored 188 marks (94%) in the entry-level test for the CA course (CPT – common proficiency test) that was held in December 2014.
The CA IPC (Integrated Professional Competence) November 2015 results were declared today. While Pranav has topped, the 2nd rank has been secured by Abhishek Agarwal from New Delhi (539 marks, 77%) and the 3rd rank by Ayushi Goyal (535 marks, 76.43%).
50,892 students had appeared for the group-I and group-II intermediate examinations in November, 2015 out of which only 4.14% (2108 candidates) managed to pass and qualify the 2nd level of the CA course.
